The DFINITY Foundation, a Swiss non-profit organization and a major contributor to the Internet Computer Blockchain (ICP), announced a strategic partnership in Asia with Web3Labs, a blockchain incubation accelerator and investment firm based in Hong Kong. As part of this collaboration, Web3Labs has been officially invited to join the ICP Asia Alliance initiated by the DFINITY Foundation in 2023.

As part of this collaboration, Web3Labs has been officially invited to join the ICP Asia Alliance initiated by the DFINITY Foundation in 2023.The ICP Asia Alliance is a robust and interconnected ecosystem that is accelerating the development and implementation of cutting-edge Web3 and AI solutions. The Alliance boasts a USD 20 million ecosystem grant program, focusing on fostering growth and acceleration within the ICP ecosystem.
As a key strategic partner for the DFINITY Foundation in Hong Kong, Web3Labs is committed to discovering, investing in, and nurturing the best projects and innovative teams in the Web3 domain. Since the launch of the ICP Asia Alliance in Hong Kong last September, the Foundation has consistently viewed Hong Kong as the core base for expanding its influence over the Asia-Pacific blockchain ecosystem. In this capacity, Web3Labs, as a pivotal strategic partner, will work closely with the DFINITY Foundation in multiple dimensions including ecosystem construction, startup acceleration, market promotion, and brand building. During the Hong Kong Web3Festival event scheduled for April, DFINITY Foundation will host a unique side event featuring insights from its Founder & Chief Scientist Dominic Williams, who will introduce the highly anticipated “UTOPIA” project and other ICP ecosystem growth initiatives.
